We pride ourselves on our environmentally friendly 1 litre Swingtop range.
The price of each 1 litre bottle includes a $3.00 deposit for the bottle itself. When the empty bottle is returned to one of our stores or alternatively picked up with your next order, we will give you your $3.00 deposit back on each bottle as a refund .
Once returned, the bottles are taken to the head office in North Melbourne where they are washed and sanitised prior to refilling.
The bottom line for you the customer, is that you needn’t pay a premium for packaging. Wine packaging (bottle, cork, capsule, glossy full-colour label etc.) can be quite expensive; that is one of the reasons the 1 litre range can retail for significantly less than wines in conventional packaging.
The swingtop closure is not only simple to open, it means there is no chance of cork taint, and you can easily re-seal the bottle to drink the wine over a few days. Every part of the closure can be cleaned for re-use, making it the perfect choice for our environmentally friendly returnable bottles.
